Through Department of Public Administration, the School of Social Sciences currently offers a Commonwealth Executive Masters in Public Administration. This programme is part of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) twin programme CEMPA. The COL is an intergovernmental Canada based organisation, with a mandate to widen opportunities for learning in the Commonwealth member states by promoting the development and sharing of ODL resources and communications technologies. The CEMBA and CEMPA programme comprises two streams within the two broad areas of Business and Public Administration. While the streams share the following nine core courses, only the CEMPA Stream which is offered from the School of Social Sciences is here presented as the CEMBA stream is offered from the BOU School of Business and Management Studies
