Ethical clearance is a vital safeguard to ensure that your research is conducted responsibly, with respect for participants and compliance with legal and professional standards. Collecting data before obtaining ethical approval undermines these safeguards, potentially causing harm to participants and invalidating the research process. Therefore, it's essential to complete the ethical review process before beginning data collection.
To check your progress status (note that the turnaround time is 20-30 working days from the day you have applied (excluding holidays) prior to submission depending on the volume of applications)
