WELCOME TO THE GABORONE REGIONAL CAMPUS
The Regional Campus was one of the two Regional Centres that the then BOCODOL used to pilot its ground-breaking learner support model in 2001. Then called the BOCODOL Gaborone Regional Centre, it only offered school equivalency JC and BGCSE courses to close to 900 students. The Centre has grown significantly since then and now offers 14 programmes (including tertiary undergraduate and graduate programmes) to over 7,414 active students through a network of 34 learning centres (including 7 Prisons).
Supported by over 300 part-time tutors, the Regional Campus offers 70% of the available University programmes. The Campus is also home to the recently established School of Science & Technology, the Centre for Continuing & Professional Development and, the Centre for Open Schooling.
