WELCOME TO THE PALAPYE REGIONAL CAMPUS
Palapye Regional Campus is located along A1 main road from Gaborone to Francistown at Palapye Village in the Central District; it is housed at Serorome Plot number 3718, behind Dessert Sands Motel. The Campus is the second largest in enrolment after Gaborone Campus, it is the administrative student and tutor support centre for the BOU student body in the Region for both Open Schooling and Tertiary Education levels. Palapye Campus offers teaching and learning services to the largest part of the Central district comprising of the following sub districts; Boteti, Paje sub, Lerala. Mahalapye, Mmadinare, Bobonong, Mmaphashalala, Sefhare and two Mining towns of Orapa and Selibe Phikwe.
The Region stretches from North of Dibete to Mopipi in the North West, Serule in the North, including Mmadinare and Selibe Phikwe as well as Bobirwa and Tswapong areas.
Palapye has nineteen (19) Open Schooling Learning Centres including five (5) prisons which are strategically located throughout the region. The Tertiary Education tutorials are held at Palapye Technical College, East and West Campus and the school of Education programmes to relocate to Serowe College of Education in Serowe.
