Disaster, either natural or human-made, characterise human existence. Disasters vary from one geographical location to the other. When communities are affected by disaster there is need to take the appropriate steps preparedness, especially for impending disasters, as well as to systematically react to disaster, and mitigate as necessary. The present programme is designed to equip those involved in educating communities about disaster with requisite knowledge and skills.
