Short Courses
This course will provide participants with the intellectual and practical background to would be entrepreneurs with skills and competencies to set up their own business enterprises successfully and in a profit-making manner. Participants will gain an understanding of the key skills needed for business start-ups especially; the Youth, Women, and marginalised communities for Small Macro and Medium Enterprises (SMME’s). It will also will enable participants to unleash their latent qualities to think, analyse, solve problems and take appropriate entrepreneurship steps.
The course inevitably adopts a multi-disciplinary approach to; Developing Entrepreneurial Skills covering key concepts and practices in Business Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Public Relations and Customer Care to produce a well-grounded and rounded person with all the necessary entrepreneurial skills.
After the completion of this very exciting and eye opening course. participants shall be in a strong position to produce well thought out and balanced Business Plans ready for submission to financial institutions and other Government Assistance programmes for funding, especially start-ups and business expansions.
Throughout the duration of these five days long course, participants will be drilled in a practical manner through group and individual exercises on all topics covered to ensure that at the end of the course students with entrepreneurial skills are ready to conquer the business world.
