The course helps the participant to answer the following questions:

  • How do you get other people to follow you?
  • How do you get other people, by free will and free choice, to move forward together on a common purpose?
  • How do you get others to want to do things?

In the process of answering the foregoing questions, the short course discusses

Important characteristics of a leader/supervisor, which include:

  • Motivation and emotional intelligence
  • Capacity to plan, organise, and coordinate
  • Critical thinking and innovation
  • Optimal utilisation of resources
  • Consultation and sound interpersonal relations
  • Decisiveness and assertiveness
  • Empowerment of others
  • A team builder.
