Centre for Partnerships and Business Development

The mandate of this centre is to develop and maintain business and partnership relations with key stakeholders at the national, regional and international levels including Universities and other educational institutions, government and non- governmental organisations, the business community and donor organs.

Roles

        • Development and management of relevant Strategic partnerships with academic institutions at local, regional and international level.
        • develop plans, strategies, policies, regulations and procedures related to, institutional collaborations and membership.
        • Proactively seek for interesting business opportunities, strategic allegiances and joint ventures with relevant stakeholders.  
        • Research, development, and manage the execution of a business development strategy and plan of activity to generate third stream income.
        • Promote open and distance learning by way of advocacy, capacity building and facilitate collaboration and sharing of resources and expertise with relevant institutions.
        • Drive the university institutional internationalization policy
        • Interface and advice the University Leadership on all matters relating to business development and networking
