This is a two-part routing and switching Huawei certification training short course. Part 1 covers the basics of IP network connectivity, TCP/IP technologies, DHCP, Telnet, Ethernet technologies such as STP, RSTP, VLAN, Routing technologies such as OSPF for IPv4 and their implementation within Huawei switches and routers. Part 2 covers enterprise network features and services, IP-based enterprise network security, advanced configurations of GRE, VPN, VLAN, OSPF, Enterprise Network Management solutions, support of IPv6 networks and their implementation within Huawei switches and routers.

• Part 1: (6 weeks)
• Part 2: (6 weeks)

The following requirements shall apply:

• Minimum BGCSE/IGCSE
• Fundamental knowledge of Networking Concepts

1730hrs – 2030hrs (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) at the Huawei ICT Computer Laboratory, Gaborone Regional Campus.

Instructor-led with configuration of live Routers and Switches.
